F. Braxton Terry
For more than a decade now, F. Braxton "Brack" Terry has represented
the people of the East Tennessee area. Clients have turned
to Brack when they or their loved ones were dealing with serious injury
or even death resulting from the negligence of others.
Brack practices in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, birth injury, products liability, workers' compensation, Social Security Disability, and criminal defense. Brack was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 1996 and was, in that same year, admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee. In 2001 he was admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Brack, who was born in Morristown, Tennessee on February 19, 1970, attended Walters State Community College in 1990, after graduating from Cherokee High School in Hawkins County. He later received his B.S. at Carson-Newman College in 1992. Brack earned his Doctor Jurisprudence degree at the Nashville School of Law in 1996. Brack continues to be involved at both of his alma maters, serving as a member of the Walters State Community College Foundation Board of Directors. He was recently named Distinguished Young Alumnus for 2006-07 by the Division of Business at Carson Newman College.
Locally, Brack has served as:
- President of Ridin High, a therapeutic horse riding organization dedicated to helping disabled individuals.
- Chair of the Administrative Council for Trinity United Methodist Church
- Secretary of the Walters State Community College Foundation

- Distinguished as an "Advocate" by the American Association for Justice

Brack lives in Greene County, Tennessee with his wife, Jana Durham-Terry, who is also an attorney and a member of the adjunct faculty at Walters State Community College. They have one son, John Robert, who was born in 2003.
