Margaret Hogan Kanipe
Margaret Hogan Kanipe came to work for Terry, Terry & Stapleton in 1999. Margaret is responsible for our accounts payable and accounts receivable department. Margaret also serves as the receptionist for our law firm. She is the first person to welcome our clients when they enter our office or call to make an appointment. Making personal contact with the clients is her favorite part of the job.
The Business Services Committee of the Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce presented its 110% Award to Margaret. The 110% Award is presented each month to recognize excellence in customer service from the front line employee in some retail or service businesses. Nominees are submitted by customers they have served and selections are made by the Chamber.
Margaret has volunteered with the Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce as Vice-Chair of the Women in Business organization and has helped with the Operation Thank You outreach also sponsored by the Chamber. Margaret and her family attend Manley Baptist Church.
A native Tennessean, Margaret has lived in the Whitesburg and Russellville area of Hamblen County all her life. Margaret is married to Roger Kanipe. They have one son Roger (Rocky) Kanipe II. Her hobbies are scrapbooking and reading.
